The International Food Relief Partnership (IFRP) is a program of the United States’ Agency for International Development (USAID) intended to support the production, stockpiling, transportation, delivery, and distribution of shelf-stable, prepackaged foods by U.S. non-profit and Public International Organizations.

Ethiopia: Government Ban Four NGO’s, Including Human Rights Watch
February 15 | Posted by Ethiopiaforums | Afrik: Ethiopian authorities have revoked the licenses of four Non-Governmental Organizations (two local and two foreign). The government of Ethiopia claims that activities carried out by the affected NGOs conflict with the Charities and Societies (CSO) proclamation, a law that came into force in January, 2009.
Two non-governmental organizations, Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association (EWLA) and Ethiopian Human Rights Council, have been accused of earning more than 90 percent of their budget from foreign sources. …

The Texas Aid Network, a program developed by nonprofit NPower Texas, has launched a new website to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ where Texas nonprofits can search for donated goods and transportation providers to ship these goods to needed destinations.
